My race weekend

Before a race weekend me and my dad load up my bike at home. My dad does most of the heavy stuff and I help a bit. Then we drive to the race track and sometimes it feels like it takes FOREVER. When we get there we unload the caravan and get my bike ready. After that I go and hang out with my friends that I made at FAB-Racing and we talk about bikes and who is going to be fast.

Lad and Dad racing – making memories

At tea time my dad cooks food in the caravan and it always tastes really good because we are hungry. Sometimes we have a laugh and watch videos of racing. Then we go to bed early because we have to wake up early and my dad says sleep is important if I want to be fast.

A typical race day at FAB-Racing

In the morning we wake up at about 8:00am and go get my transponder. Then I put on my super suit, also known as my leathers, which makes me feel like a real racer. I help my dad put the tyre warmers on and we check the fuel and everything else. I feel excited and nervous while waiting for my race to be called and I watch the other riders go past.

When my race starts I go as fast as I can and try my best. When I see the chequered flag I slow down and ride back into the pits. My dad gives me advice on where I can improve and what I did good. My favourite part of the whole weekend is racing on track, having fun, and being with my friends.

My motorcycle racing journey

I REALLY hope FAB-Racing and LRA Moto will help take me all the way to the R&G Moto4 British Cup because that is my big dream.
